Ecumenism in our Parish is supported by many and underpinned by our membership of Churches Together in Cranleigh plus our strong relationships with the Church of England parish in Bramley.
Each Wednesday morning the clergy from the various churches in Cranleigh meet for prayer at St Nicolas Church. The clergy have lunch together once a month to discuss various ecumenical activities and the Churches plan and celebrate liturgies together throughout the year.
Throughout the year services are held as follows:
- Christmas Carol Service at St Nicolas Church of England Parish Church
- Ecumenical Service for the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is held one of the village churches on the Sunday in the octave.
- Open Prayer services at Cranleigh Baptist Church
- Harvest Songs of Praise at one of the churches during the harvest Season.
We are always welcoming to others who would like to get involved with ecumenical initiatives and events. Please do contact the Parish Office if you would like to get involved. Email us or call on 01483 272075.
